Nestled in a tropical garden, Huelo Point Lookout’s Haleakala Cottage is located in Haiku, on the island of Maui’s north shore. Set in a secluded area, the cottage is just 15 minutes’ drive from a number of shopping and dining options, and is centrally located between Lahaina and Hana.

A flat-screen TV is provided for watching movies (no TV channels), and the nearest video store is 15 minutes’ away. In addition to a private hot tub, the cottage boasts a charcoal barbecue, 3 private patios, outdoor seating area and free WiFi access. Guests also have access to a shared swimming pool, which has a sea view and WiFi access.

A fully equipped kitchen and intimate dining area are also featured, as well as an exotic blue-tiled garden hot and cold shower. Fresh flower arrangements greet guests and there are special treats left in the fridge for guests.

Haleakala Cottage is only 15 minutes’ drive from the town of Haiku, 20 minutes’ drive to beach town of Pa’ia, and 20 minutes’ dirve to Makawao and the slopes of Mt Haleakala. Several dining and shopping options can be found in these small towns. Ho’okipa beach, with its massive green sea turtles, is only a 15-minute drive away.

Kahului Airport is 33 km or 45 minutes’ drive from Huelo Point Lookout - Haleakala Cottage. Hiking trails, waterfalls, and bamboo forests can be found throughout the whole island.
