Apartment Serra Miasino
Cosy apartment in a big stone villa. located on a hilltop. overlooking the Orta lake. The old building has a large garden. and used to function as horse stable for the nearby Castle of Miasino. until it was recently restored. The villa has been restored with great respect for it’s historical background. and the old details have remained intact. giving the apartment a unique sense of style. The apartment is colourfully decorated and has a warm atmosphere. The apartment is equipped for 2 people but can accommodate a third person. who has to go through the master bedroom to get to the bathroom. . Sit back on your private terrace in the back yard of the villa. and enjoy a good glass of wine. If you prefer sitting in the sun while overlooking the Orta Lake and Mount Rosa. you can take place on the sun loungers in the front yard. The apartment is located in Miasino. Lots of baroque villa’s can be found in this picturesque village. where you can go out for dinner in typical Italian trattoria’s. The Orta lake is a 3km distance of Miasino. and is said to be the most romantic of all Italian lakes. Walk alongside the lake and enjoy the nature. On hot summer days you can go for a swim. or practise one of the many possible water sports. It’s also an ideal spot for golfers. due to the 4 nearby golf courses. and you can even go skiing in Mottarone (30min. by car)Besides Miasino. you should definitely pay a visit to the island of San Giulio in the middle of the lake which can be reached from the coastal town Orta San Giulio (3km). The bigger Lago Maggiore is at a distance of 19km.
