At the Wannsee Conference, 15 senior representatives of the Nazi Reich government and SS authorities, arrived on January 20, 1942 at a country house in Wannsee, Berlin, chaired by SS-Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich to organize the Holocaust against the Jews and to coordinate cooperation between the authorities involved.
The exhibition and library are open to individual visitors; groups must register in advance, especially if they would like to take advantage of the educational opportunities that are offered here. The speakers and supervisors of the groups will discuss in advance and in detail which themes they would like to discuss, the inclusion of any knowledge or questions asked by the group, as well as the pedagogical sense or methodology to be used earlier. The memorial has developed study days that are specifically geared towards members of certain professions. These seminars deal with how representatives of those same occupations have positioned themselves in relation to the crimes of National-Socialists.
