The Strumpffabrik Estate is surrounded by fields and extensive woods. The estate is near the town of Kerpen in the Eifel Volcano region.
The 1.3 hectare garden includes the large, original factory building in which stockings were manufactured until 1989. There are large, well furnished living and dining rooms, a terrace and a modern, inviting wellness area with sauna and jacuzzi.
The central area and the east wing are available separately. There is an intimate cafe here and two excellent seminar and function rooms.
There is a 390 million year old rock face behind the estate which is part of the Eifel Volcano's Geo Park. The famous Eifelsteig walking route passes the front of the building. Golfers can enjoy the 18-hole course at the Eifel Golf Club, three kilometres away. The famous regional attraction, the Nürburgring, is just twenty kilometres away.
