Once a watermill, River Island Portugal is now a luxury 3-bedroom villa in Casal de Érmio, on the banks of Ceira River, 22 km from Coimbra city. It offers an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by sand.
This villa includes an elegant living room with stone walls, a fireplace and cosy sofas.
The riverside unit features barbecue facilities and a fully equipped kitchen, where guests can prepare meals. Meals can be enjoyed indoors and outdoors.
All guests are provided with a rowing boat and kayak, which can be used to access the tennis court, across the river. The court can also be used for badminton and basketball. Rackets and balls are provided. The swimming pool is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and provides sun loungers and parasols. A massage service is available, at an extra fee.
From May to October, a river bar built on stilts over the water, offers snacks, a diving platform, swinging rope and a children's paddling pool.
