Apparently, the Tipón site was part of the royal hacienda of the Inca Yahuar Huaca and, at the same time, a place dedicated to religious worship and agricultural experimentation. The harmony achieved in the conduction of water through the fine stone structures stands out greatly, either in the form of aqueducts, some of them underground, or of falls and streams.
This beautiful set of agricultural terraces, long stairways and channels carved in stone is located about 20 km south of the city.
