On the beaches of Armeria is the Cuyutlán Ecological Center, whose turtle not only protects three species of turtles that appear on Colima beaches, but is also dedicated to the protection and conservation of iguanas and crocodiles, although turtles remain the main attraction.

Baby turtles are released into the sea and will have to wait 15 years to return to these same beaches.



The Estero mangroves are located in Cuyutlán lagoon in the municipality of Armería, Colima.

El Tortugario is a recreation center located 4 km east of the city of Cuyutlán.



Visit Cuyutlán beach, famous for its so-called 'Verde', which reaches heights of up to 8 meters from April to June.

This beach is considered a classic Colima spa.

From Manzanillo it is a 20 minute drive.
