Opening in July 2014, Guest House Sendo is located in Kyoto, just a short walk from Sai Tram Station and Saiin Train Station. Free WiFi access, bicycle rentals and stylishly furnished rooms are all on offer here. Complimentary breakfast consisting of toast and fresh coffee is served.

Both private and dormitory rooms are available. All feature a unique décor and are equipped with air conditioning, heating facilities and bed linens. The private room comes with a bathroom including a bathtub and towels, while dormitory rooms share bathroom facilities.

To better navigate around the city, guests can rent a portable WiFi for an additional fee. Sendo Guest House provides a shared lounge area and a fully equipped shared kitchen, where guests can prepare their own meals. Laundry facilities are also available on site. Rental towels are available for dormitory room guests.

The guest house is a 25-minute walk and bus ride from Nijo Castle, while Arashiyama is a 40-minute walk and tram ride from the guest house. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kiyomizu Temple is a 40-minute train ride and walk away, and JR Kyoto Station is accessible within a 10-minute taxi ride.

No meals are served on site, but the nearest supermarket and convenience store can be found within a few minutes’ walk.
