This cosy little house is by a canal in a quiet country area. The house is in the village of Nieweroord in the Province of Drenthe. The hundred year old farmhouse is simply furnished and has all the charm of bygone days. The farmhouse is in a beautiful position under some ancient oaks. There are fruit trees in the garden. The house is in grounds of 2.000 m2 and surrounded by trees. There s plenty to enjoy in the surrounding area. The Mantingerveld Nature Reserve is four kilometres away and has numerous walking trails and cycle paths. You can explore expansive moor lands and see amazing shifting sands and dense woods here. Emmen Zoo is thirty kilometres away. You can view animals up close in their natural habitat. It s a unique experience. The cities of Hoogeveen. Assen and Emmen are well worth visiting.
