Excursion destinations: Schleiden Castle church, adventure pool, Burg Vogelsang, Hellenthal wild animal park, summer alpine slide with minigolf/quad track and open air muserum in Kommern. In the winter, the Eifel also offers a varied program. Many sledding and ski slopes, such as the Weisse Stein lure sports enthusiasts with their sled lifts, downhill and cross country skiing. The holiday home is an ideal base for walks in the Eifelsteig and cycling tours in the Eifel National Park.
