Itaguaçu Beach, located between Morro João Dias and Balneário de Ubatuba, is one of the most sought after by vacationers, surfers and fishermen of the region, who practice pitch fishing. In the part near Morro João Dias, the attraction is the monazitic sands, rich in minerals and used as treatment of some diseases by alternative medicine.
