The Kura Hulanda Museum is situated in the center of the port city of Willemstad, where Dutch businessmen negotiated and overflowed enslaved Africans along with other commercial goods. This museum displays impressive Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade in its entirety, from the capture of slaves in Africa through the Middle Passage and the relocation of the New World.
The Kura Hulanda museum demonstrates that African heritage and diverse cultural influences have influenced Curacaoan and Caribbean societies to this day.
