Always known as Rossio da Bica, it was ordered by the President of the Chamber of Cuba in 1923, Mr. Constantino Taborda Morais.
In May 1923, the land of Rossio da Bica was added together with the construction work of a spout to Mr. Manuel Elias Gomes, resident in Cuba and Canteiro, to be completed within 3 years.
In Cuba, Alentejo.
The Bica has a regional and popular, and ends in an acorn, a symbol very typical of the Alentejo.
It is confirmed by the minutes of the Chamber meetings of the time that the work was conceived in its entirety by a Canteiro de Cuba, contrary to what the people of the land thought, that such a work could not have been done by anybody on earth. Today is a garden area with playground.
