Despite its modest exterior, the church presents us with a stunning interior space - it is one of the most excellent and dense baroque interiors of Portugal, the amount of tiles that cover all the walls, the carving of its 3 altars and the paintings of the ceiling. Its importance in baroque art comes mainly from its blue and white tile panels, dated 1713.
