Each Riverbank Cottage offers an open-plan living area, with an open fire and a beamed ceiling. The kitchen area includes an oven, microwave, and a fridge. Local shops, pubs, and restaurants can be found within a 5-minute walk.
The hilltop town of Scariff is situated on the western shores of Shannon’s Lough Derg, at the heart of a very scenic area. It is an ideal base for exploring County Clare. With the M7 motorway just 25 minutes’ drive from the Riverbank Cottages, Dublin can be reached after just over 2 hours’ drive.
Guests can enjoy fishing, walking, and sight-seeing in the area. There is a private stretch of riverbank, ideal for coarse angling and the properties are very central to lakes in East Clare. The East Clare Way passes by the Riverbank Cottages and shorter walks are signposted.
