Sameiro Park is an example of the perfect choice of place. Its strategic construction takes advantage of the best views, revealing the mastery of our ancestors in the art of designing gardens.
This place has a strong connection with the traditions of the county. In the not too distant past, the lake was the scene of the famous Lake Party that attracted thousands of young people to the place.
Prominent over the city and the Sousa Valley, it was built at the end of the 19th century. XIX, beginning of the century. XX, during the construction of the Sanctuary to Nossa Senhora da Piedade and Santos Passos, Zeferino de Oliveira Park, better known as Jardim do Sameiro.
