The Church of San Francisco de Guayaquil is the third oldest in the city and its birth is related to the transfer of the Franciscan Order to the New City in the first decade of the eighteenth century. It is also one of the symbols of the Catholics who inhabit the city and profess their faith in the temple. Today it has been embellished thanks to the lights that the city council has placed to make it a spectacular place to visit for national and international tourists.

San Francisco Square
Also called Plaza Rocafuerte, it is now a venue for exhibitions and outdoor plays. Preferred place for tourists to photograph themselves due to its peculiar style and the amount of pigeons that live there.
