The house dates back to around 1820, and each guest room has a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities. All rooms have an en suite shower and hairdryer.
Full English breakfast includes bacon and sausages from the island, and free-range eggs from a local farm. There is a choice of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, nuts and toast, as well as fresh coffee and a range of teas.
Ventnor lies on the Isle of Wight’s southern coast, within 10-15 minutes’ drive of the resorts of Shanklin and Sandown. Attractions around the area include the Shanklin Theatre, Isle of Wight Zoo and Shanklin Chine, while Ventnor’s own Botanic Garden features a large collection of subtropical plants benefitting from the Undercliff’s remarkable microclimate.
