Armação de Pêra is a very popular village in the summer, having a population in the bathing season several times its population in winter, making it a very complete destination for summer vacations and beyond.
During the bathing season or summer, Armação is full of daytime and nightlife. During the day you can enjoy the various sports that exist on the beach, such as volleyball, soccer and aerobics.
On the beach, during the day, you can also visit the caves with some fishermen who dedicate themselves to the caves in the summer while others are dedicated to fishing the whole year.
During the night there are concerts in the fort every Thursday, a place of great beauty, and the street of the bars becomes a place of great attraction.
The beach of Armação de Pêra maintains the typical fishing fainas on the Fisherman's beach. But it is the tourists, attracted by the extensive sand and warm waters, that give it a cosmopolitan, lively and colorful life.
