Today Zaporizhzhia is the sixth largest city and the center of heavy industry in Ukraine. In addition, it is an important knot of Zaporizhzhia. The most important natural and cultural monument in the city is Chortycja Island. On the island are the remains of various settlements of historical cultures. On the island there is a museum záporožského kozáctva. The main avenue is a city on Lenin Prospekt. The street is 11 km long and is the longest street in Europe. In the city there are several Leninových monuments.

Its main tourist point is Jórtitza Island, the historical residence of the Kosakos, the only place where Zarina Ekaterina was prohibited from entering and had to wait on a nearby islet to be attended to.

It has a great climate and the seasons are enjoyed each. There is nothing like a walk along the right bank of the Dnieper in spring, to gather the fruits and mushrooms that abound there.



Needless to say, how friendly and warm the people are.
